Casa Troniella is a charming country house in Pintueles, a small village in the Piloña area of Asturias. Originally an 18th century farmhouse, it has been sympathetically restored by its owners. It is situated down a quiet country lane and has lovely views down the Cayan Valley and foothills of the Picos de Europa. It is conveniently located for visits to the National Parks of Redes, Sueve and the Picos and the lovely towns of Villaviciosa, Colunga and Ribadesella.

The beautiful Asturian beaches of Rodilles and Playa Griega are only a 30 minute drive away. The cities of Oviedo and Gijon are only a 40 minute drive away. The surrounding countryside is dotted with small villages and hamlets and is ideal for touring, walking and cycling. The region is known for its cider and a cider festival is held every year in July in the nearby village of Nava.

This peaceful holiday rental in a beautiful area of Asturias has 4 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms which are all on the first floor. Additionally on the first floor there is a lounge/library and a typical Asturian Gallery stretching the length of floor.

On the ground floor there is a spacious, wood beamed sitting room with wood burning stove, TV, CD/radio and a dining room. From the sitting room, doors lead out to a typical Asturian porch where you can enjoy the beauty of the surroundings.
